Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson: Bella and Edward’s (near) kiss in Catherine Hardwicke’s Twilight
Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart’s Bella Swan kiss in Twilight was included in the Los Angeles Times magazine’s top 50 movie kisses ever. Okay, so a) they were placed at No. 49 (well, the list is chronological) b) it’s old news (Feb ‘10) to everyone but me and perhaps a handful of secluded aborigines in Papua New Guinea.
But I love the photo and decided to mention the (old) news here. Above is that crucial moment before Edward’s and Bella’s lips actually meet. Those precious pre-smooching seconds can be even more arousing — emotionally, I mean — than the actual kissing. At least that’s my opinion.
