'American Ultra' French release date has been moved forward to August 26, 2015! We will no longer have to wait until September! :-)
Allociné, French version of IMDb, updated its page with the new date - and the distributor, Metropolitan Filmexport, kindly confirmed it to me. :-)

Robert Pattinson's ‘Life’ is Snapped Up By Cinedigm For US Release in 2015
Cinedigm has acquired U.S. distribution rights to Anton Corbijn’s Life, which stars Dane DeHaan as James Dean and Robert Pattinson as Life magazine photog Dennis Stock. The pic’s story is told from Stock’s perspective as he meets and profiles Dean in 1955 for the magazine, turning out some of Dean’s most iconic photographs. The photos were published seven months before Dean’s death at age 24.
Luke Davies penned the script for the movie which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in February. A fall 2015 release is planned.
The deal was negotiated by CAA and WME Global with Cinedigm’s Kristin Harris.

But, regarding Kristen, you know, I'm proud of her for being herself. Times have changed now—there's a lot of invasion of privacy and a lot of ruined moments. What [the paparazzi] take, capture, and release is often taken as a reflection of who that person is.

The US film's distributor Lionsgate donated for auction four tickets to attend the Premiere and after party of 'American Ultra' - in Los Angeles or New York on August 17 or 18 - location & date to be determined. CharityBuzz is hosting the auction, and the proceeds will benefit the Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences.

IFC in talks to acquire rights to 'Anesthesia'
• Deadline: EXCLUSIVE: IFC is in talks to acquire Anesthesia, the Tim Blake Nelson-directed drama that stars Kristen Stewart, Glenn Close, Sam Waters, Nelson and Michael K. Williams. Scripted by Nelson, the drama is the intersection of characters after the violent mugging of a Columbia University prof. The film premiered at Tribeca, but the deal making is getting done here at Cannes. Nelson is producing with Julie Buck, Josh Hetzler, John Molli, Nelson and Christopher J. Scott. UTA is brokering the sale.
