Remember the days when you were a kid and you would show up for a movie two hours early to get a seat if you thought the film would be sold out? Those days are over. With the internet, you can book your tickets well over a month in advance and in some cases even your seats! People are now showing up five days in advance for certain events!
Given the hotly anticipated opening of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” – now just over a month away – and the movie theaters’ preparation for the onslaught of Twi-kids, Twi-moms, Twi-dads, Twi-hards, every-day “Twilight” fans, and the general audience, the theaters are starting to promote special packages for opening night. Some of the best options are below, but there are likely many more, so please leave a note in the comments if you know of others.
AMC Theaters (select theaters on June 29th): $30
1) Admission to “Twilight”
2) Admission to “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”
3) Admission to “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” (all three movies shown back to back)
4) A $10 AMC gift card that you can use at any time
5) A collectible lanyard (while supplies last)
Regal, Wehrenberg, Harkins Theaters (select theaters on June 29th):
