Actress Drew Barrymore is sweet, sugary, hot, gorgeous and a veteran in Hollywood alleys considering that she has been in the tinsel town right since her childhood days.
With her gruelling and taxing schedule, she may often land up feeling pretty wearied and choked out.
However, a good mushy rom-com comes like a whiff of fresh air for her and helps her rejuvenate her mind and soul. She gushes, “I need them (rom-coms) at the end of a crap day — a nice happy ending and a fairytale. On the other hand I like movies that are very grounded in reality but still maintain their comedy.”
Looks like, Twilight must be high on Barrymore’s list. After all, all women all over the globe are feeling the sensation darted by Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s romance as vampire Edward and human Bella.
Besides, Drew doesn’t like films of genre where the girl is dying to get wedded. Drew quips, “I swear to God, with some of these romantic comedies, these women are being shot in the butt with steroids, and I feel like they’ll eat the husband alive on their wedding day. It just terrifies me — I don’t relate to that at all. I’m not at that place in my life where I want to play a character who says, ‘I just have to get married.’ “
Certainly, Bella Swan is a headstrong lady and isn’twedding obsessed. She is resolute and has to battle her inner demons and the conflict over werewolves, vampires and humans.
