I can not even begin to describe the excitement and pride whilst writing this post!!! It has been officially CONFIRMED by Stephanie Meyer herself that Mackenzie has been cast as Edward and Bella's half-vampire-half-human daughter, Renesmee Cullen in Breaking Dawn. She will be appearing in the last installment in the hugely popular Twilight series!!!

First of all its so lovely to hear that they are looking forward to working with Mackenzie! Filming begins this November and will continue till the end of March! Mackenzie is going to have the best experience of her life I AM SO SO SO PROUD!
Mackenzie will be working alongside a HUGE cast including her Vampire father Robert Pattinson and Human mother Kristen Stewart! I will aim to keep you posted on all developments as they happen, this is so very exciting!!
Now I know you have all been wondering how Mackenzie is going to play a child quite a few years younger than she really is. Well according to unnamed sources, "Dawn" director Bill Condon will employ similar digital effects to those used by David Fincher in 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,' where Mackenzie's face would be digitally transferred onto the face of a younger child. It's also probable that the studio will hire a younger child in some capacity too. How cool is that??
