Stephen Dorff talks about working with Kristen and how he knew she was going to be a good actress
On Knowing Kristen Stewart Before All This 'Twilight' Stuff:
Kristen and I did this movie, 'Cold Creek Manor,' right before she did 'Panic Room,' and I knew she was going to be a really good actress. I thought, She's so cool and she's going to do some really good stuff. And she has, outside the 'Twilight' movies. I thought she was great in 'The Runaways' with Dakota Fanning. I haven't seen Kristen since she became a teen goddess. Now she's a grown woman. My little sisters -- they're 11 and 13 -- really liked those movies.

Jenny Lewis Interview ~Rob & Kristen Mention
A host of celebrities, like Reese Witherspoon, Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Pattison and Kristen Stewart have been in the audience at your shows. Does it ever freak you out when you find out someone famous is in the audience? Well luckily I didn't know that R-Pat and K-Stew were at our show. I have never seen any of the Twilight movies but I was charmed that they would wanna come out to a Jenny and Johnny show.
She's happy about Rob & Kristen coming to her show, so sweet!

Sofia Coppola talks about Breaking Dawn
Before Bill Condon was confirmed as the director of Breaking Dawn, one of the names that was being bandied about for a potential director (along with Gus Van Saant) was Sofia Coppola. Sofia just sat down with New York Magazine’s Culture Vulture to talk about her vampire love, Breaking Dawn connection, and upcoming work.
“Stephen told me that when you began this movie, Johnny Marco wasn’t the main character.

It’s sort of embarrassing. After Marie Antoinette, I was thinking, Oh, I feel like it’s time for a vampire movie. So I was writing this vampire story, and then that character came in. It was before Twilight and all that stuff.

Oh no, it was set in Europe.

Yeah, he came into the story, but it was all set in Europe. And then I was writing the character of the daughter, and I asked my friend’s daughter what books she would be reading, and she was explaining to me the plot of Twilight, and I didn’t know what it was. So that’s why we have the daughter talking about that [in Somewhere].

And then life imitated art, because you were mentioned as a contender to direct the final Twilight installment, Breaking Dawn. Did you approach them, or did they approach you?
