OK! HAS NEW DETAILS ABOUT ECLIPSE RESHOOTS
A visit to Vancouver to re-shoot scenes for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse recently doubled as a romantic getaway for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.The actors were re-shooting a scene where Rob’s Edward Cullen and Kristen’s Bella Swan kiss; and the “tent scene,” where Bella must choose between Edward and Jacob (Taylor Lautner).“test audiences thought the tent scene too ‘dark and adult,’” a source tells OK!. To make sure it was just right this time, Twilight author Stephenie Meyer stood by director David Slade for three days of re-shooting.
Though each of the stars had their own, 1,600-square-foot suite on the 34th floor of the Sheraton Wall Centre, “kristen’s room remained untouched for the duration of rob’s stay,” a source tells OK!. “she stayed in rob’s room the whole time he was in vancouver.”
“Do Not Disturb” were put on Rob and Kristen’s door to prohibit anyone from entering — even maids.Bottles of red wine were delivered to their floor and Rob ordered orange juice, candied salmon and herb crackers from room service.And while there was no kissing or hand-holding during breaks on the set, Rob would guide Kristen by putting his hand on the small of her back, quietly showing his love with a small gesture.
Their romance will continue to blossom next week as Rob celebrates his 24th birthday on May 13. An insider close to the couple says Kristen, 20, is planning on giving Rob a rare vintage guitar for the occasion.
“she’s been looking at fender guitars,” says a source. “she wants to get him something really special, something really rare.”

Here’s a shocker. Those two crazy kids from the Twilight franchise topped a recent Fandango poll (given to EW exclusively!) ranking the summer’s most anticipated movie couples. SJP and John Corbett snagged spot No. 2 (ooh, that’s a burn, Chris Noth!), while poor Drew Barrymore and Justin Long just barely beat Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer (um, who? yes, exactly) for ninth place. Personally, I’m stunned (not really) that the golden comedic chemistry between Annette Bening and Julianne Moore in The Kids Are Alright didn’t make the cut. Oh well. Take a gander at the list. Who are you most jazzed about seeing on the silver screen in the coming weeks?

OPRAH’s ECLIPSE Preview Screening Gets Raves
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, starring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, plus various vampires and werewolves, had its preview screening during a taping of Oprah Winfrey’s television show featuring the three aforementioned stars and Dakota Fanning.
As to be expected, some audience members began tweeting about their impression of the David Slade-directed film. The buzz coming from those Twilight fans has been quite positive — few should be surprised by that — with some placing Eclipse ahead of both Catharine Hardwicke’s Twilight and Chris Weitz’s The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
The Oprah show featuring Pattinson, Stewart, Lautner, and Fanning will be aired on May 13. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will be released in the United States on June 30.
Eclipse’s "official" world premiere will apparently take place in Hollywood on June 24, while an "unofficial" screening will be held the same evening at the Los Angeles Film Festival in downtown LA.

Robert Pattinson protects Kristen Stewart in new Twilight ‘Eclipse’ photo. “Twilight Saga” super star Robert Pattinson is spotted protecting his leading lady Kristen Stewart from the evil vampire Victoria in this new photo from the upcoming “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” movie. Robert Pattinson plays character Edward Cullen in the flick,and Kristen Stewart plays Bella Swan.
Things get intense for the two lovers as the evil vampire Victoria still seeks revenge for the death of James from the first “Twilight Saga” flick. “Eclipse” will also feature more fighting and action scenes,along with a much more darker tone. There will also be a stronger crop of newborn vampires that arrive on the scene. Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) and the wolf pack will agree to join the Cullens to help get rid of them.
It will also feature some interesting back story information on characters Jasper and Rosalie Hale,played by Jackson Rathbone and Nikki Reed. “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” is set to hit theaters on June 30.

Kristen Stewart\'s Take on Bella Swan in ECLIPSE
Kristen Stewart, who turned 20 a couple of weeks ago, has recently told Entertainment Weekly that Bella Swan will be different in the upcoming The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. "I wasn’t as tortured as I was on New Moon. Bella really knows what she wants in Eclipse. She’s not just a dumb kid talking because she’s in love."
A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about a "more mature Bella." Stewart’s remarks (which, in all honesty, I’ve just read) seem to confirm my expectations. Also, there was an 11-month gap between filming Twilight in April 2008 and New Moon in early 2009. According to MTV.com, Eclipse began shooting less than two months later. (Between the first and second Twilight films, Stewart worked on at least one project, Welcome to the Rileys; it must have been hard going from a foul-mouthed, abused pole dancer-sex worker back to Bella Swan in New Moon. The Runaways, which earned Stewart quite a bit of praise for her portrayal of rocker Joan Jett, was shot in summer ‘09, after Eclipse.)
Such a brief hiatus is excellent for an actor. It’s not as repetitive as doing a stage play every night, when you have to "freshen up" your character for every performance so it won’t come across as a mechanical creation. And it’s much better than playing the same character again after the actor has gone totally "cold."
Once that happens, it’d be like having to start things from scratch. The actor will have to find his/her character’s emotional/psychological place once again, and that can’t be too easy.
I expect the performances, especially those of Stewart and Robert Pattinson, to be much superior in Eclipse. Both have grown a lot as actors since the first Twilight was shot two years ago.
I believe Taylor Lautner will be better, too, but to date his only film work since Twilight has been a supporting role in the all-star Valentine’s Day. So, it’s harder to tell how much he has matured as a performer.
On the other hand, I can tell for a fact that Lautner has certainly matured in terms of looks. He no longer looks like a boy. He looks like a man.

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE Album on Pre-Order: Will Robert Pattinson Sing?

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’s soundtrack compilation is scheduled to be released in the United States on June 8, or about three weeks before the movie opens on North American screens.
At this stage, what songs will be included in the soundtrack album is most anybody’s guess. According to earlier reports, Muse’s song for the film is out. Others have it that just about everybody, from Adam Lambert to Justin Bieber (dueting with Robert Pattinson…), will be heard on the album’s soundtrack. Placido Domingo anyone? What about Joan Jett?
Band 100 Monkeys‘ Jackson Rathbone, who plays Jasper Hale in the Twilight Saga movies, has reportedly also offered songs from his band.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse score has been composed by three-time Academy Award-winner Howard Shore, among whose credits are the Lord of the Rings trilogy; David Cronenberg’s Crash, A History of Violence and Eastern Promises; and David Fincher’s Se7en. Now, that sounds promising.
Although the June 8 date is no longer on the Amazon page for the Eclipse soundtrack — it was removed sometime after it first appeared on Monday, April 19 — it is the correct release date according to MTV, which received confirmation from a representative for Atlantic Records.
Those who want to preorder the Eclipse soundtrack can already do so despite the announcement on the album’s Amazon page that "a release date has not yet been set for this title." In fact, lots of people have been doing so, as the Eclipse album currently (early hours, April 20) ranks #17 among Amazon’s "music" bestsellers and #2 among its movie soundtracks.

Edward and Bella Kiss: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart in Modern Gothic Love Tale

I find Edward and Bella kissing to be one of the most romantic images in movies. I’ve become acquainted with the Twilight series — from the original to New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn — very recently. Even though I wouldn’t call myself a "twihard" — yet — I gotta say that I’ve become enamored of the characters played by Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Gothic or semi-gothic tales about doomed or impossibly difficult love affairs have always been a weakness of mine.
Despite their modern clothing and the fact that their story isn’t set in some ancient cottage on the English moors or some dark castle in Bavaria, Edward Cullen and Bella Swan appeal to me mostly because I don’t see them as 21st-century teens. In fact, I see their romance as something more profound. Actually, that’s not a good word. You can be a (modern) teenager and have "profound" feelings for someone else.
What I mean is that the Bella-Edward romance feels more mature, or rather, more "adult" — despite its high-school setting, and certainly despite Bella’s inner conflicts and apparent selfishness. Perhaps that’s my imagination at work. I’m really not sure how much of what I "see" is on the page or on screen, and how much is inside my own mind.
But think about it. How easy would it be for you to give up your life as you know it for someone else, even if that someone else looks like Robert Pattinson? Couldn’t you at least to a certain extent become confused? Fearful? Perhaps even find another object of desire, however unconsciously or however tentatively? (Of course, it doesn’t hurt if the "distraction" happens to look like a fast-maturing Taylor Lautner.)
If you think that adults can’t — or don’t — act that way, then you haven’t been around many adults in your life.
As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, I do ardently hope that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will live up to my expectations. That the depth (and the darkness) I find in the Bella and Edward romance will be there on screen — and not just inside my head. Well, perhaps it’s time I begin calling myself a "twihard," but I’ll hold off until Eclipse comes out.
