“The two first met at the 2007 auditions for Twilight, what they both assumed was going to be a cult vampire movie — not a $380-million-grossing global phenomenon complete with their own Barbies. They were thrown into a bedroom scene — well, a scene in a bedroom, anyway. “It wasn’t like we had to lie down together,” Kristen says, “but we were very reactive. We had a very responsive, palpable thing.” Robert notoriously took half a Valium beforehand.

“I was calm and collected, and then we do this thing where we’re pretty much making out. I’ve since tried to do it at another audition, but it completely just collapsed.” He adds, “Kristen was very different from how I expected the girl who played Bella would be. I was kind of intimidated.”

The most anticipated panel of the Eclipse convention was the Big Three: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner. I suppose it’s not a big secret that I have a majorly inappropriate crush on Robert Pattinson. I don’t know just what it is about this young Brit that gets my blood into such a boil, but I’ve learned to just accept it.

First off, let me tell you that Rob is inhumanly beautiful in person. I’m not just saying this because I’m hopelessly infatuated, which is a given, but because he really is. From the moment he stepped through the door directly in front of me until the moment he left the stage, I was utterly captivated.

I would also like take this opportunity to brag about my impressive multitasking abilities. Not only did I ogle Rob as I hung on to his every word, but I also took a bazillion pictures while on the phone with 17foreverlisa the entire time. All she could probably hear was the audience screaming and my continuous commentary of “ohmygod,ohmygod,ohmygod,” but she still stuck with me like a trooper.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart attract attention wherever they go, so their rumored joint appearance at a pre-Oscars Chateau Marmont bash last Friday would have been news no matter what.

But Us Weekly raises the ante, claiming the Twilight twosome “threw their hands in the air like they just didn’t care,” spending all night on the dance floor, where one “fellow reveler” says “they definitely kissed a few times.”

According to the magazine’s source, the highlight for the couple came when DJ Jesse Marco played Jay-Z and Alicia Keys‘ “Empire State of Mind” (“They went nuts for [it]!”)

That sounds pretty cool and all – but did it actually happen?

Gossip Cop received many questions about Pattinson and Stewart’s supposed attendance at the soiree, and while it’s possible the duo danced the night away, no one has been able to confirm that they were there.

The event’s own photographer tells Gossip Cop he did not see Pattinson and Stewart at the party, and one of the organizers tells Gossip Cop, “They were not on the list [of expected celebrities].”

Again, it’s possible that Pattinson and Stewart were among the crowd that included stars like Halle Berry, Ryan Gosling, Miley Cyrus and Natalie Portman.

But the absence of any corroborating eyewitness accounts at this point, in addition to what our sources tell us, make Gossip Cop skeptical that the Breaking Dawn stars kissed on the Chateau Marmont dance floor last week.

A little bit of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart goss for you Twi-hards today as there is still some mystery surrounding our fave couple. 

Like what exactly happened to Kristen's wrist? She was spotted last week at LAX with a blue cast on. And is there any hope for Rob to present at the Oscars?

First off, let's get to our No. 1 gal. We contacted Summit to see if they had any comment on what happened to Stewart down in Baton Rouge, and they aren't talking. The Breaking Dawn lockdown continues! 

This is a tad unusual, but stay with us as we have a theory. 

A source close to Stewart assures us she's fine: "Kristen is totally OK. It's much ado about nothing."

We're hearing that the injury did happen while filming, and we bet the studio doesn't want to comment and potentially give away spoilers. 

Even the slightest info confirming it happened while doing some stunt gives hints as to what they were shooting. And we all know how secretive they've kept things. Either way, we're just glad K.Stew is fine, and we're told she's back to work in Vancouver as we type. 

Now, onto R.Pattz. As we told you last week, it was highly unlikely that Robsten would be making an appearance at the Oscars. There was a time when Kristen was rumored to be going, but we're still being told she is out. 

However, we are hearing there is still a little hope that Pattinson might be able to present after all.

Sources close to Rob tell us that there is a "slight chance" he will be here in Los Angeles to present at the Oscars with his Water for Elephants costar Reese Witherspoon. 

Filming can be so unpredictable that unless it's 100 percent, an announcement won't be made. 

A source close to Rob tells us that conversations are taking place to "see if it will happen." 

Love it! But would love it more if Kirsten came as his date. She'd find a way to make that cast rebel chic on the carpet.
