Kristen Stewart has gone back to the dark side after spending the summer as a strawberry blond,courtesy of colorist Marie Robinson. While Stewart's decision was work-related (she had to return to a rich, chestnut hue for the next Twilight film), we love the idea of going darker for the fall and winter months.

Kristen Stewart fans, rejoice: The Twilight star is back in the spotlight this month as she promotes her gritty new drama Welcome to the Riley's.

From the looks of it, Stewart's in top form. She was the picture of youthful femininity at a New York City screening of her new film, showing off her stems in a graceful lace overlay dress from the most recent Valentino Resort collection. A simple, yet mature ponytail with volume at the roots, smoky eyes and matte lipstick gave the star a regal, Old Hollywood air.

She may spend most of her time in Converse sneakers and undershirts, but Kristen Stewart can turn on the movie star glamor at will.
