Examiner: Robert Pattinson ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ reportedly worried of being defined by the character

The star of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Robert Pattinson has serious acting abilities, and the world knows it. He has contiually proven his talent in the Twilight films as well as films as How to Be, Remember Me, and Little Ashes, and The Bad Mother’s Handbook. However, according to a new report, Pattinson is reportedly scared that he will always be defined by his Twilight role of Edward Cullen.

PopEater reports a source saying: “Robert is frightened to death that for the rest of his career he will be known as Edward Cullen. No matter what other roles he plays, he will never be able to shake off Edward’s fangs and it terrifies him.”

The source went on to say: “Of course, Rob loves the money that the role has made him, but he is only 24. To think your career has already peaked before you hit 25 is not a good thing.”

What do you think — is Robert Pattinson defined by his role of Edward Cullen? Or is there a difference between taking on such an iconic role, and being defined by it?

Sorry Rob, I don’t see you as being defined by this. You’ve got way too much talent to always be “that Edward Cullen guy”.
