Well according to belamifilm.com there is still yet a release date for Bel Ami. There is speculation that France my get it of May 2011. Belamifilm.com posted that Protagonist Pictures were able to confirm to belamifilm.com that Bel Ami will in fact be screening at film festivals in the future but they have not yet decided on which ones. We will keep you posted on this as we find out more.
It looks as though we will have to wait a little longer to get some North American distributor news as well as some official release dates for the film. Wish we had more confirmed information to share but we will keep you posted as we hear more.
Seriously, there are thousands of women lined up to see some Robert nakedness and they can't find a North American distributor. What the Hell is going on here? Personally, I read the book and I want to see this more than Water for Elephants. I mean this movie is going to be all sorts of naked, sweaty and steamy Roberto.
