Kristen Stewart may have dropped out of her mom Jules Stewart's directorial debut, K-11, but that doesn't mean she isn't in the film.
K.Stew makes a vocal cameo in the film about a businessman, Raymond Saxx (played by Goran Visnjic), who finds himselft thrown into the gay and transsexual unit of a Los Angeles jail after he's arrested for drug use.
"We had one role that we couldn't find the right voice for and it's Raymond's secretary," Jules told me at her Libertine Films production offices in L.A. "As he's on the telephone frantically trying to call outside, trying to get information, his secretary answers the phone and talks to him, and that, in fact, is Kristen. It was perfect, because she came in at the very last second and banged it out. It was perfect."

Jules Stewart's Interview with Italian Vanity Fair Scan
Jules mentions Kristen and Rob.
Bella's mom takes up cinema and debuts as a director. But when asked if her daughter's heart still beats for Pattinson, she cryptically answers "do you remember a story about us?"
They say that, looking at his mother-in-law, a man will know how his wife will be. Well then, Robert Pattinson can consider himself lucky, Jules Stewart is an icon lady.
Mama Stewart isn't the only Stewart involved in the movie. In the cast there's also the first-born Cameron, and it seems that the star of the family, too, Kristen, made her contribution. What is her role then? At a first screening, it's virtually impossible to recognize her, so keep reading to find it out.
- Did you ask your daughter to play in your movie?
"She would have loved it, but she was busy doing On The Road when we were shooting, she does have a little cameo, though. Hers is the voice of the secretary Raymond speaks over the phone to."
- And it was your son's debut. What was it like?
"It was better that I'd expected. He was very helpful and he very well managed to come out of his comfort zone."
- Is it true that he told you 'if my sister can do it [being an actor] I can, too'?
[laughs] "Yeah, they're very close and always joke."
- Your daughter has been acting since she was 9, will there be another actor in the family?
"I don't know, but I've never interfered with their choices anyway."
- neither about love?
"No."
- Aren't you jealous your daughter is now a woman and has a famous boyfriend?
"No, on the contrary. She's very much in love and it's great. Everyone should be."
- What's your relationship with Pattinson?
"I like him, we get along. But I keep myself out of their relationship."
- You must give Kristen some advice, though
"Oh course I do when she asks for it, but I never impose my opinion."
- When they broke up in July (after those pictures of her and Rupert kissing) what did you tell her?
"We had a long conversation which I'm not going to share."
- Where did the idea of your movie come from?
"A boy who went to that jail told me he'd want to write a screenplay about the K-11 area, so we started to work together."
- What was the hardest scene to shoot?
"Shooting a scene with 65 people in one room, which made it a bit claustrophobic. Being in jail is basically like living in a box where there's no privacy."
- What is the message of the movie?
"That it's okay to be different."
- Does that mean that even the most adrift characters are good?
"Yes. The charachters of K-11 represents the emotions, the anger, the regrets and love of every human being."
- What is it like to work in a business that is full of men?
"We may have more difficulties but we're now coming out with our creative side. The men I worked with were happy to listen to other points of view."
- You have divorced your husband John after 27 years of marriage. What is it like to be a middle-aged single woman?
"I don't want to define myself on the fact I have or don't have a man. I feel very strong. I can be by myself and be who I want."

Momma Stew mentions Kristen with Total Film
“To have your daughter being so in the public eye and so popular, a lot of people accuse me of using her to get what I am,” Stewart openly admits. “That’s a negaive thing and not true.”
Stewart Jr. (Kristen) intended to play Butterfly, a transvestite male inmate of K-11, a real wing of the LA jail reserved for gay, transvestite and transgender inmates, where Goran Visnjuc’s heterosexual innocent man is thrown. Then Twilight happened… “She became this big movie star. She became too big for me. She stepped away to protect it.”
After three stalled starts, Stewart gained French funding and energetically cracked on but the film remained a family affair.
Kristen got a role in the end as the voice of a secretary on the phone (a "micro cameo!")and her brother, Cameron makes his screen debut as the mohawked neo-nazi.

Kristen talks about Kate Del Castillo and briefly mentions her mom and K-11

Kate Del Castillo's talent has gained her a new fan. And one that already has her fan base. (millions of them)
After going to visit the set of her mom's film. Kristen Stewart had the opportunity to meet and see the work of the Mexican actress and completely fell in love. In a recent interview while promoting her upcoming film (Snow Whit and The Huntsman), in Mexico, The star of Twilight had nothing but compliments to say about the actress.
The whole cast is excellent, i can't choose one as my favorite but, I must say that Kate shines. She's like no other actor or actress. She has a light that's very special. You'll see her performance in the film because, even though her character is not an easy one to play and it requires a alot to develop, she does it in a way that is so impressive.
Kate will play a transsexual who is the principal voice of the inmates in a prison in Los Angeles and the director is Kristen's mother, Jules Stewart. "The truth is that my mom is very lucky for having had her in this project, no one else could have been able to do it."
(...)
"She's very open. She has a very cool way of thinking and if there is an oportunity of working with her on a project that, would be great. I think we'd get along very well inside and outside the set."
Without a doubt, the love and admiration from Stewart is great support towards Kate, now that she is closer and closer in becoming a recognized figure in Hollywood.

Jules Stewart Talks About Kristen and Cannes in a New Interview
And your daughter Kristen also plays a micro-cameo in the movie...
Yes, she is the secretary on the telephone. She loves the film and wanted to be a part of it. She was going to be Butterfly at first. Kristen attached herself to that role years ago but the schedule didn't work. There was Snow White and the Huntsman and I have to push her up to do this big movie.
Let's talk about Cannes. How is the festival going for you?
We are having a wonderful time here, it couldn't be better. We already got offers for K-11, the movie has been very well received there.
How long are you staying?
Until May 26th. I'm here for the whole festival. My daughter Kristen is coming on the 22nd for her movie ON THE ROAD so I'll be here to support her. I'm really proud of her.
Red carpet time then?
I don't know yet, but I will definitely be on the background, applauding her.
