New Rob interview with szonline: Departure from the Twilight World

His early career as Cedric Digorry in the fourth "Harry Potter" movie has long since forgotten, because for millions of fans around the world, Robert Pattinson is just still the charming vampire Edward - and perhaps the biggest heartthrob of the cinema under the sun. Three years after "Twilight - Bis (s) to the dawn" and a few other movies like "Remember Me" or "Water for Elephants," the Briton the immortal lovers, is now playing in "Breaking Dawn - Bis (s) at the end of the night 1 ". It is the fourth and penultimate time the final, already wacky, Finale will follow in November 2012. In an interview Robert Pattinson looks despite his mere 25 years of fairly mellow and cool.

Mr. Pattinson, five films and one long to play the same role - that is a challenge?

The most difficult thing about the "Twilight" movies for me was always, be careful that you had not to repeat itself. Especially when Edward, because the figure is changing so, unlike some of the Bella, not really. He is no more, he does not sweat, he does not cry, he makes himself never dirty. Not so simple that you can not always look the same since.

But is not "Breaking Dawn Part 1" placed special difficulties? After all, there is a wedding and honeymoon.

Yes, it was definitely a new experience, because for the first time Edward and thereby makes everything that follows, by a certain change. I was honestly easier than ever to slip into his skin. It felt more natural, somehow he got a bit more human.

Also because of the much-discussed sex scene?

Sure. While rotating the scene was actually quite straightforward, very easy. Our director Bill Condon has made sure that no one had to feel uncomfortable. Strange was only the pressure of expectation, because we really felt we had under observation before we had begun to turn at all. And even though there was actually a thing that will make most people more or less the same.

Were you on the last day of shooting happy to Edward behind?

Robert Pattinson is not ready for fatherhood!

The character of Edward Cullen, played by actor Robert Pattinson, became a father in the movie Breaking Dawn: Part 1 , but the British actor believes that it is still too immature to be a father in real life, and ensures that they probably would their children ridiculous names.

"I have no idea. I still think as a child of 12 years. I do not know what to do with a baby. I like to call it Killer or Butch, names of dogs," the actor replied when asked how he would call his children.

Pattinson, who is dating his Twilight co-star, Kristen Stewart, recently confessed he has no plans of becoming a teen parent because they just have experience with children.

"Being a father, yes. Being a teen parent, no. I have no experience with children. In my circle of friends there are none who have children. And I've never had a younger brother. You should have seen me when I shot the scenes in Breaking Dawn: Part 1. There were two babies who have no more than two or three weeks, and I was afraid to hurt them, "he added.

Kristen Stewart, "The Sexiest Looks in the tour of Breaking Dawn"

From awkward and reluctant teen superstar to dazzling, confident fashionista, Kristen Stewart has come a long—and we mean looong—way on the red carpet.

No fidgety hands, nervous lip-biting or slumped shoulders were in sight as the 21-year-old criss-crossed the country (and hopped across the pond) to promote Breaking Dawn: Part 1.
And not only did K.Stew's confidence improve, so did her fashion choices.

We thought we'd be in for an endless parade of minidresses—the babe's favorite flattering style—but nope, R.Pattz's girlfriend even vamped it up in some jaw-dropping gowns and fun skirts, too.
Which look was best?

Bill Condon talks to USA Today about making Breaking Dawn and working with Rob and Kristen

Director Bill Condon knew that bringing Stephenie Meyer's young-adult novel Breaking Dawn to the big screen meant wading through some seriously intense themes not traditionally seen in a PG-13 film.

As he worked his way through the book to prep for shooting The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1, which opened at midnight Thursday, he was struck by the sheer number of plot points he refers to as "delicate issues."

REVIEW: 'Twilight' gets older, wiser, better

"I was reading it going, 'Wow, so much happens in this story,' " says Condon. "It certainly doesn't play safe. It was daunting."

Thankfully, the Oscar winner (for Gods and Monsters' screenplay) found words of inspiration for his first foray into the world of teen fiction.

"There was one very consistent idea that kept coming through," he says. "Don't water it down. There's something crazy and intense about this book, and you just have to embrace it."

Meyer's fourth and final Twilight tome has spent 163 weeks on USA TODAY's Best-Selling Books list since its 2008 release. Condon hopes the legion of "Twi-hard" fans also embraces the closing of the wildly successful film series, which has been split in two (Part 2 will be released next November).

Airs November 18th!

@GossipCop

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner, along with other Breaking Dawn stars, taped “Ellen” on Monday for an episode that will air on Friday when the film hits theaters.
A lot of fun stuff happened, and Gossip Cop has all the exclusive details.

An audience member tells Gossip Cop the following:

*DeGeneres did a scene with the cast that she wrote in which she plays Edward’s first love, “Linda,” and Pattinson played along.
*Stewart threw grapes across the studio, and Lautner caught every one of them in his mouth.
*DeGeneres made Lautner dance with her as soon as he came onstage.
*DeGeneres gave the entire cast T-shirts that read “Team Ellen,” featuring a photo of herself as a vampire.
*Bruno Mars ended the show singing “It Will Rain” from the film’s soundtrack.

Will you be watching “Ellen” on November 18?

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn hairstylist Bonnie Clevering, spoke to Canadian Hairdresser Magazine about creating Bella Swan's hairstyles for the movie. Also, makeup artist Stacey Panepinto discussed how she created Bella’s natural look. Read on for details...

Hair
“The inspiration was simple” says Bonnie. ”I had to remain consistent with Bella’s previous looks which was soft and casual.” The foundation for Kristen’s haircut was layered around the face at a chin length, while the back was longer with layers. To maintain her hair color, Bonnie would use a color enhancement to give vibrancy and tone to her hair for film. This all might sound simple but filming scenes in Baton Rouge, Vancouver and the US Virgin Islands played havoc on Kristen’s fine, silky hair.

Even though her hair was dense, Bonnie had to maintain Bella’s look for 12-15 hour days of filming. To achieve her look through various scenes and weather, each morning after shampooing, she would apply conditioner to only the shaft area. For lift and volume, Bonnie would apply IT&LY HAIRFASHIONS Pure Style Mouse (Strong) to the root area to serve as a root lifter while using a light gel to the shaft. It was important to use products that would prevent her natural oils from weighing down the hair. Next, Bonnie would blow dry her hair using a small mixed bristle brush at the root area for added lift and switching to a medium round brush to finish the shaft area. After blow drying, she would use a jumbo curling iron, running it through the shaft area just to heat up each section and then switch to a 3/4″ iron to create a blend. To finish, she would use a light hairspray like Sebastian Shaper. According to Bonnie, “The greatest challenge was the various weather conditions. I needed products that would allow me to comb the hair out and re-blow dry the hair without any track or pulling of the hair.”

Makeup
“Bella’s look has been very natural in the movies and we wanted to keep that forBreaking Dawn,” said makeup artist Stacey Panepinto. To achieve the look she used very natural colours like browns and peach tones to enhance Kristen’s eyes and a sheer colour to pull out the natural colours in Kristen’s lips.

I will, of course, be examining the two artists' handiwork at midnight at the theater on November 17th. OBV.

New Rob Interview with Welt Online (Germany) "We know you are together with Kristen Stewart"

Thanks to Britt/BD from Germany for sending in the link and translation. She adds that "WELT is a serious German daily newspaper."

"People greet me while peeing"
"Twilight" actor Pattinson on the vampire hype and his new film

Welt Kompakt: Three years ago the "Twilight" hype began. Were there moments when you offered resistance?
Robert Pattinson: Yeah, at the very beginning when I had to attend a media advisory for interviews. The film producers were very peeved at me. Because the coach said: 'Rob ruins everything.' I’ve teased them all. There you should practice how to summarize the content of your film in ten seconds. And it doesn’t matter what you say, the main thing, it is short. Or we had simulated interviews where the guy said to me: "Hi Rob, I'm James from CNN ..." I just laughed: "But you're not James from CNN!" I thought to myself: If I play a vampire, I can do what I want.

Welt Kompakt: Now you have wrapped all the movies. Are you happy when the madness is over?
Robert Pattinson:
How I feel, I can say to you in a year. Because then the very last part will be shown in the cinemas. Until then, I have to promote. I just can not imagine yet. To me it seems as if there was only "Twilight" in my life. But I myself am curious how other people see me in the future. For the entire three years I have spoken repeatedly about the same topics.

Fandango's Exclusive Interview with Bill Condon

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn director Bill Condon graciously took the time to talk to us about what's on the mind of every Twilighter now that we're nearing the final weeks before the film.

He's continued to remain tight-lipped about some details (which will make for a better moviegoing experience, of course) but he had much to say on the birth scene (his favorite), the highly anticipated wedding, as well as additional scenes from Edward's point of view! Warning: This interview contains spoilers.

Fandango: Fans are really looking forward to the wedding, the honeymoon, the birth and Bella's transformation scenes. What was your favorite to film and why?

Condon: They're all really fun but I have to say the birth. There was something that happened on those nights, but specifically the first night – there was something electric about it, so intense. Kristen [Stewart] was so powerful. Obviously, it's a very feverish scene with everybody kind of getting into that mode. It happens on a movie set sometimes. Everyone gets very hushed, and after and between the takes everyone's walking around, whispering and not talking – it was one of those. Kristen didn't get up. She was on that gurney and spent hours and hours there. That scene is the one I will remember more than anything.

Fandango: What is Irina doing at the wedding (as seen in movie photos)? That's noticeably different from the book.

Condon: In that case, it's just about good movie storytelling. Just imagine if she's not there and then in the second movie, she shows up, sees Renesmee and freaks out. No one will know who she is. People will talk about who she is, as they do in the book. Or you'd be stuck with some clunky flashback. To make something really cinematic, you put it into the present tense. She doesn't want to come, she's convinced to come, she gets there, she sees something that upsets her and she leaves – so that you see, you experience what it is that's bothering her. It's because her problem with the Cullens is the lynchpin for the entire second movie. Part of it why it's there has to do with servicing what's going to happen in the first half hour of the second film.

Fandango: You mentioned that Kristen Stewart cried when she read the wedding part of the book. Why do you think it resonated so much, and what other parts resonated with you?

Condon: I think so much of it resonated because the stakes were so high. A wedding is always a really moving thing, but [Bella] is walking down that aisle knowing she's never going to see her parents again. That's the thing that I think adds this extra kick of emotion. It's one thing to say goodbye to your dad and your mom and to thank them as you're going off to your honeymoon, but when you know you're going to be a vampire and never exist in [human] form again, it's something else. I think that was a big one – just talking about the movie a while before we started. Forget about the vampires and werewolves and everything. What are the human challenges? One of them is that first difficult year of marriage. You've had the fantasy, you've had the dream, you've gotten your dream, now it's a reality. Now you're waking up with him or her every day. What adjustments do you have to make when you change this fantasy to reality? That's an interesting human question. There's a lot of resonant stuff through the book that was very real on that level.

Fandango: You've also said there's going to be a choreographed dance number at the wedding.

Condon: It's very brief, but absolutely! It was a lot of fun. All I can say is that Jackson [Rathbone] and Ashley [Greene] are incredibly good dancers. They should make musical films.

Fandango: Was it an actual musical number?

Condon: This is not a musical number on a stage or anything. This is just people dancing at a wedding, that's all. It's just that we had a choreographer to help us.

Fandango: How excited are you for fans to see the wedding scene? It must've taken high-security to keep the wedding dress from getting leaked.
