Deauville 2010: Welcome to the Rileys Review 4 stars out of 5 (Translated):

Second feature film produced by Jake Scott Ridley Scott’s father and uncle Tony Scott, Welcome to the Rileys is the story of an encounter between a pair of fifties in crisis since the death of their daughter and a young (woman) on the verge of falling into prostitution. The realist aesthetic and springs scriptwriting nothing revolutionary but the realization of a sober welcome, embrace endearing portraits of these three characters in search of disease that will slowly regain life and return to faith themselves. But it is primarily as an actors’ director Jake Scott does wonders: we do not doubt for one second the ability of James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo to confer such a humanity to their characters, Kristen Stewart creates surprise with a composition very touching, delivering her best performance to date as an actress. No doubt that the current young female icon will easily manage after Twilight.
