Main Street in Kentwood had a blast from the past as cars from the 1940′s era were brought in by a production crew for the filming of a scene for an upcoming movie. Although crews on site would not confirm, a representative from SPAD films told Kentwood Rotary members at a meeting last month that the company would be filming “On the Road.” The movie is being based on a novel by Jack Kerouac. The cast of the movie reportedly includes Sam Riley, Garrett Hedlund, Tom Sturridge, Kristen Stewart, Kirsten Dunst, Amy Adams, and Viggo Mortensen.
