New Kristen interview with LA Times - She talks about Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and BD1

Kristen Stewart wishes she was better in "New Moon" and acknowledged that if she's being really honest, she "didn't love" "Eclipse." As the star of "The Twilight Saga" since its inception in 2008, Stewart has been at the forefront of the lucrative vampire franchise throughout its five movies.

Along the way, she's worked with four different directors, battled the ever-present media scrutiny and learned how to handle a fervent fan base that has very specific ideas on how Stephenie Meyer's beloved books should be translated onto the big screen.

When Stewart looks back on the movies, she has varying thoughts about each of them.

On "Twilight": "What I remember the most about the first one is sitting with Rob [Pattinson] in a room tearing our hair out over the script. We were getting notes from the studio incessantly. Every day. I now love everybody but then I was like ‘Don’t you dare say anything to me.’ It was such a fight. And it’s so much fun to fight. That’s my thing. It’s great."

Rob Talks About 'Queen of the Desert'

Rob Pattinson changed out of his green suit before coming to the party with wearing a more casual red sweater and baseball cap, saying he has three movies to shoot before he even gets to "Queen of the Desert," in which he plays T.E. Lawrence opposite Naomi Watts' Gertude Bell. "I wanted to work with Werner Herzog," he told me. He has no idea if he'll go blond to play Lawrence of Arabia. And the role is being expanded for him. First he has to get through David Michod's "The Rover."

New Kristen Interview with EOnline from BD2 LA Premiere

Kristen Stewart only just got to don fangs in the final Twilight Saga installment. So, it would only make sense that fans crave more vampire K.Stew. But what does Bella Swan, er, Bella Cullen think about it?

"I'm not sure," Stewart told us when she hit the black carpet at the premiere of the final Twilight film, Breaking Dawn Part 2 Monday. "It would have to be pretty special."

So, how does it feel walking the fifth and final red carpet, held at Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live?

"You know, I think the most go-to answers for everyone on one of these carpets is, 'Oh my gosh, it's so surreal,'" Kristen explained. "But to be honest with you, this time especially is so completely surreal. I'm just trying to absorb it. I'm trying to be here."

New Rob and Kristen Interview with LA Times from BD2 LA Premiere

It may seem like "Twilight" is coming to a close -- what with thousands of fans descending upon Los Angeles Monday night for the premiere of the final film.

But the journey isn't yet over for the stars of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2," who will jet to Europe this evening after attending the film's Hollywood premiere.

"Knowing we have to go to London tonight and then to Madrid is so annoying," said Robert Pattinson, decked out in a green Gucci suit.

Kristen Stewart seemed more taken with the present moment. Asked how it felt to know the vampire franchise was finally coming to a close, she could only muster the word "surreal."

"I know the most go-to answer for everyone on these carpets is 'Oh my gosh, this is so surreal,'" she said, affecting a valley girl voice. "But to be honest with you, this time is so completely surreal. I'm trying to absorb it. I'm trying to be here."

New Rob Interview with EOnline from BD2 LA Premiere

Robert Pattinson might feel a little relieved that The Twilight Saga has come to an end. He's said as much himself!

But that doesn't mean he won't miss it.

"In a year, I think I'll definitely miss it," R.Pattz admitted on the black carpet at the Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiere held at Nokia Theatre. "It's such a strange experience. That's why I waited to see the movie until tonight. It's such a different thing seeing it with the fans instead of on a DVD or whatever."

Fans that have been with the saga since the very beginning. And are still just as dedicated five years later, if the throngs of screaming fans that have been camping out for days are any indication.

"It was incredibly overwhelming, the first one. I mean, it felt like you were getting hit by a truck," Rob recalled of his first Twilight premiere. "This one, you kind of know what the deal is. You know nothing really weird is going to happen."

And Twi-hards, don't start your grieving just yet—because Edward Cullen himself may not hang up his fangs forever.

"Yeah! Yeah definitely," Rob told us when asked if he would ever play a vampire on the big screen again. "If it was a good script."

As for the flashy green suit he rocked tonight?

R.Pattz laughed, "I had a dream about an emerald green houndstooth suit, and I got Gucci to make it."

It's hard to think of Robert Pattinson being scared playing Edward in the Twilight movies.

But he was. At least at the very beginning.

"It was terrifying," he told me and my E! News cohort Catt Sadler at tonight's Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiere at L.A. Live. "I was shooting the last fight scene and I almost ripped my glute. I almost ripped my glute in the first shot I ever did. I was so nervous. I had to have a physio called in and have my butt cheek massaged for the rest of day."

R.Pattz looked dapper in a green hound tooth Gucci suit. It happened to be the same color as, well, mine!

Sadler asked Kristen Stewart who she thought wore it better.

"Well, I think they're so different and they compliment both of you as individuals," K.Stew said. "And I think you both look gorgeous tonight."

Aw, shucks.
