One scene called for Stewart to wade into a bog, and Dawson said that the actress handled it like a true professional. "She was amazing. This was a cold bog that we dug and filled it with this goopy brown stuff that was really nasty," Dawson said. "She was in it, and she was acting in it. She never moaned. She never complained."
Dawson said that being a good sport in situations like the scene with Stewart in the bog make his job easier. "When that happens, it sells the shot. If you can tell that somebody's not comfortable doing something, then it doesn't work."

David Cronenberg Talks About Cosmopolis Winning in MTV Movie Brawl and Rob
Eric Packer is about to embark upon the worst car ride of his life. Thankfully, Robert Pattinson — the actor who plays Packer in "Cosmopolis" — doesn't share his character's fate.
Pattinson fans came out in full force to elect "Cosmopolis" the winner of the MTV Movie Brawl 2012, a weeks-long tournament that pitted several of 2012's biggest releases against one another to determine which film is the must-see cinematic event of the year. After tense battles against titans like "Bel Ami," "The Twilight Saga - Breaking Dawn: Part 2," "The Dark Knight Rises" and "The Hunger Games," it's Pattinson's upcoming indie thriller that took home the grand prize.
It's a surprising result for many onlookers, given that "Cosmopolis" has yet to release a trailer and only has a tentative release date of 2012. But Rob's fans rallied behind their man, opting to support his future in "Cosmopolis" over his past in "Twilight" — a commanding decision from a massive fanbase that demands attention, to say the least. In fact, the movement was so strong that it even caught "Cosmopolis" director David Cronenberg's eye even before the film won the brawl for it all. Shortly after the victory was announced, Cronenberg got on the phone with MTV News to talk about what "Cosmopolis" winning the MTV Movie Brawl means for the film, Pattinson's performance, when fans can expect to see a trailer and much more.
MTV: David, thanks for talking with us! Have you been filled in on what's happened with "Cosmopolis" over here?
David Cronenberg: You know, I've been following it! I'm shocked! I'm shocked and amazed and really tickled. It proves that movie fans are unpredictable and really interesting and really passionate. It's fantastic. I would have never, ever imagined that this would happen.

No. 5 Favorite 'Twilight' Moment So Far From MTV
With just four days until our MTV First special on "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1"—complete with never-before-seen clips from the film and interviews with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner—we're getting antsy in the pantsy for our last-minute exclusive peek at the crushworthy culmination of Edward and Bella's big day. But before we get cracking on picking our new favorite moments from the penultimate chapter of "The Twilight Saga," we're counting down the top five fan favorite moments (voted by you!) from the "Twilight" movies we've already seen... and today, we've got your official No. 5. The verdict:
Robert and Taylor's snarky sniping over a sleeping KStew in the "Eclipse" tent scene!
The filmmakers may have been trying to skew viewers in favor of this one; Rob even confessed, "I think they tried to make it more erotic!" when he told us about some last-minute reshoots of the pivotal scene. But fun as it was to watch our favorite Forks hotties get snippy in the wilderness, this fan favorite moment still came in behind some of the more, er, explicit sexiness of scenes like the "leg hitch" from "Eclipse" or the first kiss in "Twilight."
So, what was your No. 1 pick for favoritest moment ever? Nuh-uh, we're not telling yet! Keep checking back all week while we count down to No. 1. And don't forget to submit your most burningest questions for our three stars via MTV.com or Twitter (using @MTVNews, plus the hashtags #AskTwilight and #MTVFirst)!

MTV: Spotted: Robert Pattinson Gives a Good Face at Berlin 'Water for Elephants' Photocall
Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
Forget St. Thomas. The new, hot location for celeb spotting this week is Germany. Fresh off "Breaking Dawn" re-shoots, Mr. Robert Bedhead Pattinson made a stop in Berlin earlier today at the Hotel de Rome for a "Water for Elephants" photocall. Or as the German call it, "Wasser fuer die Elefanten"...uh...photocall.
The heartthrob—clad casually in a steel-colored button-down and dark pants—mugged with co-star Christoph Waltz and director Francis Lawrence at the event, which preceded the German premiere later today. (Happening right this very minute, actually, if my time zone calculations are correct!)
It's been a whirlwind few months for Rob—from wrapping "Breaking Dawn" and promoting "Water for Elephants" to hanging out with MTV News. A lot. The man deserves a vacation pronto! (May we recommend New York? It's lovely in the springtime. And I have a spare air mattress in my apartment, Rob!)
Click on the image above to see more of the "Twilight" star from the Berlin photocall and to peep who else MTV Spotted!
Lol. That face...
