"Dark Del signing my last official duty under the Twilight Saga regime" |
To celebrate the DVD/Blu-Ray release of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse this weekend, director David Slade appeared at Dark Delicacies in Burbank, California to sign discs for fans and promote his favorite horror shop at the same time.
Photos, videos, and accounts of the appearance can be found here at TwiFans.
Slade tweeted about the appearance, saying "Thanks to everyone who braved the LA winter at Dark Del this evening. It was a fun event, now resting my signing arm for a while." He later issued this photo of an exit sign, saying "Dark Del signing my last official duty under the Twilight Saga regime."
Having David Slade, as the film's director, on Twitter certainly brought forth some interesting insight into the creation of the movie. It was a unique way to include Twilight fans in the making-of process. Now that his work with Eclipse is done, it'll be very interesting to see what he chooses to do next.
