New Kristen Interview with People Magazine for Chanel

Ever since we heard that Kristen Stewart was a new face of Chanel, we’ve been dying to see how the line’s creative director and head designer Karl Lagerfeld would style her for his ads. After all, the starlet has a very different look than the ethereal blondes Lagerfeld has tapped for previous campaigns (like Keira Knightley, Blake Lively and Diane Kruger). And as you can see in the first-look video from the ad shoot below, her edgy beauty was played up in cornrows, winged liner and some seriously beautiful clothes.

Rob and Kristen interviews with Empire Online

Kristen

Twilight has turned her from indie darling into a star, almost despite herself, but as the end of the series approaches Kristen Stewart seems to be more relaxed and comfortable with the response to the saga, and positively confident about the two-part finale. We talked to her recently to learn more about Bella's wedding, the fans and what she's working on next...
How do you feel about Breaking Dawn being a two-part film?I really like it! It’s such a different speed; it’s very very close to the experience of reading the book. I think we were lucky enough to have so much time to spend on every bit of the book. I don’t feel that anything is left out, whereas I watched all the movies before and felt a little sad about certain parts that weren’t in and we don’t really feel that way this time, it’s cool.
Is it still weird to see yourself on the big screen?Yeah, it always is the first time you watch it. You keep this list of, like, checks and balances and… it’s like you have to make sure everything is in. You also have the chance of working with people like Bill [Condon] who really love doing what they do and are willing to talk everything through. And if you feel something should be changed, if you feel something you did on set is missing he’s always willing to go on in and look at it.

Kristen talks about working with Chris Hemsworth in SWATH

The 21-year-old, whose mother is an Australian, originally from Queensland, feels very at home with co-star Chris Hemsworth.

“I feel so incredibly comfortable around him. There is a very particular Aussie mentality and he has got it. He epitomises it,” Stewart told The Daily Telegraph.

“He’s really smart and he’s very impassioned, but he’s also really funny and light and kinda loud”

“His accent is funny. I can’t do it, I’m always trying to mimic him but I cannot do it!”

Snow White and the Huntsmana is a Lord of the Rings-style epic reimagining of the classic fairytale, in which Stewart’s Snow White is a warrior princess on a mission to take down the Evil Queen Ravena (Charlize Theron), with the help of Hemsworth’s Huntsman.

It is currently shooting in England and will be released in June 2012.

“I have an English accent in the film, that’s much easier for me for some reason. That Australian thing is tough,” Stewart said.

New Rob, Kristen and Rob interview with 15 a 20

Everytime I interview Kristen I’m surprised at how beautiful she is. Perfect skin, not a drop of make up. She’s wearing jeans, a grey shirt, sneakers, definitely the same Kristen, but much more comfortable than three years ago when I first interviewed her for Twilight, where she was very nervous, fidgeting on her seat.

You character goes through a lot in this movie. She gets married, she has sex, she has a baby, she becomes a vampire…
  • I know, that why they had to split the movie in two (laughs).

What was the most difficult part of filming this movie?
  • It’s a moment that I’ve been waiting for so long. Every single thing that happened in the previous movies was amplified this time, because of all the pressure and the people waiting fo the movie, and especially because these are very iconic moments in the saga, and we need to make justice to them, which is a little terrifying, but you need to feel that way, you need to be afraid because fear gives you the strength to carry on important tasks.

What can fans expect this time?
  • Personally, I love the beginning because it’s the first time you meet Edward and Bella, and they’re having fun, everything is so light and happy at first, but now she has to deal with different issues because she’s married, they now have problems with each other, and one of them is she’s having this baby, and he wants to kill the baby/fetus (laughs). And for the first time, the perspective changes to Jacob’s, and nobody else’s.

How did you prepare for the movie?
  • I did the same thing I always do, basically. In the books Stephenie gives a very visceral description of events, and she was on the set all the time, which was great, because only she knows these characters so well.I just took the best of the book and tried to play it.

What was your favorite part?
  • The wedding, because everybody was waiting to film it, and part of it felt very real, so it was very emotional.

What can you share about the sex scene?
  • Oh, God! The sex was a big deal. There’s so many things going on: the wedding, the first time and giving birth. The sex scene was filmed almost right at the beginning of filming, so that part was over quickly, thank God.

Kristen talks about Taylor Lautner for GQ Australia

Photobucket

“…Lautner is really still a boy. When I spoke recently with his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, it was clear, she sees him this way too. ‘He’s literally like a puppy,’ she says. ‘There is a lot of downtime on set. I’d throw food in his mouth. Taylor is like one of those wind-up toys. You put 20 cents in and he runs around, then he crashes. At lunch, he has a Red Bull and he’s back up. When I hear him talk about girls it’s like, Awww.’

For his 18th birthday, she says, Lautner’s parents threw him a surprise party: at a go-kart track. Then everyone ate sandwiches. Out of curiosity, what did Kristen do for her 18th?

I don’t like to make a big deal out of birthdays,’ she says. ‘But it was more risqué than go-karting.’

Kristen Stewart Talks Transforming For 'Breaking Dawn - Part 1' and Kicking Ass In 'Snow White and the Huntsman'

Boxoffice recently sat down with Kristen Stewart to discuss all things Twilight as well as her post-Twilight projects. Here's a quick preview:

You know this character so well, what's it like to take her through this huge change when she becomes a vampire herself?

It felt good. It was really weird. It was such a long process of the two movies being shot at the same time as if they're one. You shoot, obviously, out of order and you keep going back and forth between pregnant, human and dead vampire Bella. There's so many different versions of Bella in this, it's insane. It was a strange experience walking on set the first time I played a scene as a vampire because I'd watched everyone around me doing it all the time. I sound so lame, but vampire Bella really is my favorite character—she's very representative of a matriarch. She's very intuitive on almost a psychic level and no one ever acknowledges it, which is interesting. Maybe that says something about Stephenie that she doesn't get respect for all of her f--king amazing qualities. And that's also one of the things that makes her appealing to me, so that's not a strike at it—that's something that I like about it. And I think it's nice to see her finally get what she wants. That's probably the best thing, even if it sounds simple and indulgent, which is why the f--king thing is criticized all the time. It's nice to see people be happy. And she really—if I've played it right—is born to be where she is.

You're shooting Snow White and the Huntsman right now which imagines Snow White as this warrior princess. What's her fighting style like?

Not to trivialize it at all, but it's hard to play an action hero who is also the most compassionate person on earth. You can't hate. You epitomize bleeding hearts, so how the f--k do you do an action movie like that? She is sort of the last shred of hope for her land. She has this ethereal, spiritual connection to her people—she really feels things-and so it's like we don't really feel empathy. I've had some f--king eye-opening experiences on this movie. I think that to truly care for something isn't just putting yourself in that situation aesthetically and then going, "Oh my god, I feel so bad for them." It's truly not thinking of yourself at all. The way that you fight is that you must take out anything that hurt your people. Basically, I'm fighting evil—I'm fighting the most evil motherf--kers-and it's fine that they're being killed. It's anguish. It's literally f--king anguish. She takes absolutely no pleasure in ever hurting anything. I'm exhausted right now and I was thinking, "The fight stuff is coming up, maybe that won't be so bad." And then I realized that they're probably going to be my most emotional scenes because I'm killing people and I'm Snow White. It's a really f--king cool way to approach a movie where so many people die. Not that I'm criticizing violent movies—I love them, generally—but it is nice to do it this way.

Make sure to check back for the rest of our interview closer to the November 18 release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part I.

Kristen talks more fashion to Style.Com at Mulberry Fashion Show

“I’m really a Converse and jeans kind of girl,” Kristen Stewart told Style.com at last night’s Mulberry after-party. “I mean, these,” she said, pointing at her heels, “are a big departure for me. But I love Mulberry. They don’t take fashion too seriously, which is perfect because neither do I.”

New Kristen Interview with TELE5 with Translation thanks to @Robsteners

TELE 5: How will the 'Twilight movies' effect pop culture movies?
Kristen Stewart: People will never forget Twilight. Movies that stick with you like that are rare. And we have inspired many new films. Hopefully I'm going to be able to be part of a few.

TELE5: Tell us a little bit of 'Breaking Dawn'. There's a wedding, honeymoon ...
Kristen: It was great to play this unshakable love. Previously there have been moments where you had to wonder if the two will make it. This time around, they are incredibly close, like a family. Bella and Edward are not only lovers, but deeply connected. They're married, it's done. And it's great to see how they cope with their problems. The crisis, if they are going to have their child or not. Bella has never been so vulnerable. And he has never been so angry. This time around everything is a little more serious and somber.

TELE5: Have you yourself changed over the years?
Kristen: For me it's really big thing coming to an end. My career was very breathless. Now I can take a break and ask myself, "Where do I stand right now? How do I feel? Where do I want to go? " I'm not used to that.

TELE5: What makes a hero in your eyes? Do you know one in real life?
Kristen: A hero wants more than just a narcissistic pursuit of happiness. Taylor, for example is such an incredibly passionate person. He has a stronger personality than most people I know. I'm sure in the right situation he would behave like a real hero.

TELE5: In 'Twilight' and soon in 'Snow White' you spend a lot of time in the deep, dark forest. What dangers lurk there?
Kristen: Snow White and Bella are of course very different. But there are some very specific fears that the two of them share. I think both are classic heroines. And both face up to their fear.

TELE5: Would you wear Bella's wedding dress in real life?
Kristen: I love my wedding dress. I love it. It's very classic. I feel it very seriously and pretty and exquisite. I like it when ceremonies have a nostalgic touch.

TELE5: Did you have a say in the design of the dress?
Kristen: A little. There were many decision makers involved. The whole thing was a huge affair. But there were a few things that were particularly important to me. Those I insisted on.

TELE5: What's your opinion on marriage?
Kristen: I'm not that keen on marrying. I don't think it's wrong but I just don't feel it. It can be something wonderful. But it is meaningless if you don't believe in it. I don't need a marriage certificate in order to feel connected to someone. That certainly has something to do with how I grew up. I'm not a fan of marriage, I'm a fan of people. I love the idea of two people being together forever. I'm very corny and sentimental.
