#Pattinson "In my head, I only signed on for one movie, I was certain that the sequels would never get made/greenlighted."

#Pattinson "Twilight was constantly attacked (...) But nobody took it out this violently on the Backstreet Boys at that time."

#Pattinson "I sometime feel like I've been spending my career on the edge of a bridge, ready to jump, until someone held me back"

"It seems crazy but when I signed on for the first 'Twilight' movie, I was certain the sequels would never be made and that I was only committing for one movie ... Looking back, I feel like the saga was often attacked, sometimes with no good reason. Not that it's comparable but noboby ever reacted that violently towards the Backstreet Boys at that time (laughs)! I feel like the last movie will get a better welcome. It was made for fans, it's almost like a love letter to them. The film is funny, very tender and it doesn't try to draw in an audience that isn't his. You'll see, this is exactly why it will please fans the most."

Kristen's Preview

Première: How do you feel on the eve of the release of this final chapter?

Kristen Stewart: It's weird ... I feel the same way whenever I finish a film, and it's not more intense with this last Twilight, probably because this character belonged to me for so long. I'm invested as much in all my roles, except that I usually have to say goodbye after five weeks. Finally, it is much easier in the case of Twilight: I spent so much time in this world that I lived all that I had to live through this experience. I have a real sense of achievement. There are some movies that I wish I could reshoot some scenes afterwards, but not here. It is done, settled and behind me. I am ready to turn the page.

Première: Except that we're talking about five years instead of the usual five weeks ... It's like quitting his job, practically.

Kristen Stewart: Do not forget that it was not continuous. I have not done just that for five years, thankfully. This interview would have been totally different otherwise. I have participated in several films in between episodes of Twilight. That said, it would not have bothered me to shoot them all back to back, but it was impossible in terms of production.

"I do the same thing in life and in this business: ask questions, nonstop, before realizing they have no answer."

New Quotes of Rob, Kristen, Taylor and Bill Condon in Melody Times (France) (Scans + Translation)

Translation

We can not wait. At the same time, the fateful date of 14 November makes us a little scared. Normal: At that time the fifth and final film of the Twilight saga will be out in theaters. A moment of intense emotions in perspective.

"Weird". The word may now return often in the actors' mouths of Twilight. Sure, it had to be weird for them to shoot all together for the last time. But for them, it is ultimately only a secondary strangeness. For them, this whole last part seems out of the ordinary.

"This film has nothing to do with the other four previous ones," confirms Robert Pattinson, Edward interpreter. "Vampires are really superbizarre dudes." Kristen Stewart, meanwhile, won't be original. When asked what she thinks of this second part which is about to land on our screens, she does not hesitate: "Let me tell you that this movie is very special. And that's a compliment : Breaking Dawn Part 2 is indeed bizarre." That is to think that she and Robert have been talking and spreading the same word! Fortunately, Bill Condon, the director of this latest opus is more talkative. "I always thought that the first part was composed of two chapters. One would be romantic, the other horrific, but in the case of this last episode, I think we can describe the set of epic."

New Short Rob and Kristen Interview with Notas Para Ti (Scans + Translation)

Kristen

Twilight is coming to an end after 5 movies. How do you feel about it?

I’m sad. We were a family, and we actually cried when we finished filming the last scene. But then we celebrated.

Who will you miss the most?

Definitely Taylor. We were together everyday, and now we hardly see each other, but I hope our friendship is not over.

Who would you like to work with next?

I really admire Natalie Portman, and I hope I could film a thriller or an action movie with her. She’s a great actress.

Would you work in a different saga again?

No franchise can match Twilight. I don’t know if I’d ever do another one, but I would like to star in a horror film.

New Rob, Kristen and Stephenie Meyer Interview with Gold Stars (France) (Scans + Translation)

Translation

Q: What is it like to arrive at the end of Twilight?
Kristen Stewart: It's very strange. We know there are plenty of people that we will never see again, it's a bit like the end of high school. It was great, but something new is waiting for us, perhaps something even bigger.
Stephenie Meyer: No, that I do not believe it. (laughs) I just hope that the fans will love the end as they liked the first four films. Personally, I was eager to see what would give Bella as a vampire. Kristen is great, the scenes are really cool.
KS: I also can not wait for it to happen. Twilight vampires are truly unique. When we are transformed, everything is amplified when, as humans, we already have special abilities, they are exacerbated.
Robert Pattinson: I'm very happy, not that it stops, but that it is reaching the end. I remember when we shot the first movie, we were all stressed out by the idea that there would be no success and that we wouldn't shoot more of the saga. Then we saw the popularity it has suscited and the fan support has never dried up, even after four films. It is an extraordinary adventure that we have experienced, I am happy to be a part of it.

New Rob and Kristen Interviews in 15 a 20 Magazine (Scans+ Translation)

Rob

Our encounter with Rob was very exciting. When he arrived to the Four Seasons hotel room, the handsome Brit was dressed casually wearing his signature jeans, white tee and baseball cap. He seemed relaxed, but we had to get to our interview immediately because we didn’t have much time.

Has Edward evolved in this final movie?

He’s definitely more relaxed than in Breaking Dawn Part 2, but as soon as Bella becomes a vampire, he loses balance. Everyting is new again. He never really understod her before, and now she’s his equal, and even then he still doesn’t get her. She’s stronger than him and she’s completely umpredictable. She’s the hyper version of who she was before. He’s trying to decipher her, and in a way it makes him seem younger. He’s very excited.

What’s it like for a man to meet a very strong woman?

In general?? (laughs)

On and offscreen, what’s your experience been like?

Everybody can be strong, it just depends who you are. I react to certain things because I’m too sensitive and I never want to offend anybody. I find it fascinating when there’s someone who’s not afraid to express their views out loud, not caring what other people say.

Roadtrip to 'La Croisette' Kristen Stewart Interview

From the land of fairytales directly on to Cannes: In Walter Salles’ long-awaited screen-adaption from Jack Kerouac’s novel “On the Road”, Kristen Stewart smoothly displays her talent and in our SKIP-interview she shows that she is capable of many more than just two different facial expressions.

SKIP: Very soon the irrevocably last part of the Twilight Saga will be released, you already finished shooting it a while ago – how exactly are you planning your future? What kind of movies would you like to make?
Kristen: Weirdly enough, I only ask myself that question during interviews (laughs). And no, I don’t plan anything, I just let things happen organically. I think in this business, it is really hard to work towards anything specific. I mean, it is a very strange occupation, to act as if you were someone else, while you are being watched by as many people as possible. It’s difficult to make any sort of plans – I always look for very special projects that really speak to me.

SKIP: And “On the Road” did speak to you apparently – even though, as you’ve stated in another interview, some people advised you against it, because the role wasn’t big enough.
Kristen: I have loved the book since I was 14, and I was sure, that Walter Salles was absolutely the right man to be directing the movie. I was sure of that from the first time I met him. Every now and then you meet people, and you know right from the beginning that you’re on the same wavelength – and that was the way with Walter and me. Even though I couldn’t really picture myself portraying Marylou – she is very, very different from me. But I had to learn to completely let go for this part. That’s something which is very difficult for me, because I hate losing control of anything. I’m an incredible control freak. I always want to know exactly who or what I am in every moment.
