The once and former R.Pattz may have burst onto the scene as dreamy vampire Edward, but he's not one to rest on pretty boy laurels. What keeps the fans affections (we like to think) is the way he keeps pushing himself into tougher and tougher roles, and his ability to laugh – hard – at the idea that his perfect features and great hair in any way make him a sex symbol.

SEXIEST ROLE
Let's be controversial here, and suggest Water For Elephants, where he's still dreamy and gentleman-like, but doesn't sneak into the bedrooms of teenage girls while they're asleep.

And she does it again. Go-to gown? Not this girl. Red-carpet dressing means everything from leather trews to shorts and all-in-one lace jumpsuits for the ever-cool K-Stew. Whether in Zuhair Murad or Balenciaga, every looks comes complete with a nod to her personal rock-chick style. What a year!

Okay, wait. Let us explain.

Look, our whole take on celebrity red carpet fashion is that it’s about telling a story with yourself and making an impact with your clothes. It doesn’t always come down to “Is this pretty/not pretty?” As Saint Oscar said, the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about. And considering most of her year was spent with people talking about her sex life, rather than her work, we think this was a LOUD AND CLEAR message at the opening of her biggest film that she wasn’t going to be shamed for her decisions.

Is it pretty? Not the point. For most of that week, this look was what the fashion and celebrity press were talking about. Mission accomplished, big time.

20. Eric Packer ("Cosmopolis")

Gone are the days of Edward Cullen, the pale-skinned vamp at the heart of the "Twilight" series. It's a new day for Robert Pattinson, who is taking his acting career more seriously with every passing role. Case in point: "Cosmopolis," the David Cronenberg mind-trip that turns the normally affable Pattinson into a deeply unlikable numbers guy in the thick of an existential crisis. His Eric Packer was more alien than man, virtually emotionless, and thoroughly reckless with a firearm. The gulf between Packer and Cullen is as noticeable as Eric's asymmetrical prostate, and we salute the actor for going so boldly into strange new territory. Here's hoping for more.

Twilight actress Kristen Stewart has been crowned the world's best-dressed woman, beating the Duchess of Cambridge and Victoria Beckham.

Stewart - Bella Swan in the hit Twilight films - is number one for transcending from "awkward teen to style queen" and for always being "effortlessly on-trend". The US actress also tops the best-dressed couple rankings with her British boyfriend and co-star Robert Pattinson.

Glamour's 50 Best-Dressed Women of 2012, voted for by readers, appears in the June issue of the magazine out on May 3rd.

Actors, such as Daniel Radcliffe and Robert Pattinson, musicians, led by Adele, and models dominate the Young Rich List of British millionaires age 30 and under that "The Sunday Times" is scheduled to publish later this month.

Its Rich List 2012, set to come out on April 29, includes 60 young millionaires along with the 1,000 richest people in Britain and the 250 richest in Ireland, the paper said.

Outside of sports, which has its own Times rich list in May, more than half of the wealthiest young people in the U.K. are entertainers, according to the paper.

The young entertainment crowd is led by Harry Potter star Radcliffe, 22, who is worth $31.8 (£54) million, the Times said. He has increased his wealth by $9.5 million over the past year, helped by the success of his latest movie, The Woman in Black.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson saw a bigger $12.7 million gain in his net worth over the past year, but comes in second with $63.6 million.

After watching them barely kiss for three films, Breaking Dawn was when we finally got to see Bella and Edward have – whisper it – sex! There was Robert Pattinson’s naked chest, pillow-biting and lots of hormones, but we couldn’t help but wonder what the original R-Rated version had been like.

Pattinson's biggest hit of the year was Breaking Dawn, the fourth Twilight movie. But he also earns from Water for Elephants which brought in $117 million.


#6 Kristen Stewart $633 million
The only woman on our list, Stewart earned only from the latest Twilight movie this year. Next year she's got the potential to earn a lot more thanks to a final Twilight movie and Snow White and the Huntsman.
