LOS ANGELES, Dec. 23 (UPI) — The animated comedy “Despicable Me,” starring the voice talents of Steve Carell and Russell Brand, is the top-selling DVD in the United States, Rentrak said.
Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD sales roster for the week ending Dec. 19 is “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” followed by “The A-Team” at No. 3, “Inception” at No. 4 and “The Other Guys” at No. 5.
Rounding out the top tier are “Shrek Forever After” at No. 6, “Toy Story 3″ at No. 7, “Shrek Forever After/Donkey’s Christmas Shrektacular” at No. 8, “The Search for Santa Paws” at No. 9 and “The Town” at No. 10.
The top DVD rental for the week ending Dec. 18 is “The Other Guys,” Rentrak said Thursday.
“Inception” is No. 2, “The A-Team” is No. 3, “Despicable Me” is No. 4, “The Town” is No. 5, “Knight and Day” is No. 6, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” is No. 7,
“Shrek Forever After” is No. 8, “The Expendables” is No. 9 and “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice (2010)” is No. 10.
