The narrator got exasperated and I heaved a great sigh of relief when I saw the end credits appear!
Encore DVD entirely for-profit that serves absolutely nothing.

There are additional bonuses but I confess I have not had the courage to move on.Maybe another day … They include stories about vampires vs werewolves, one in the series True Blood , or even Harry Potter (?).

I doubt that many of the supplements back the overall level of the DVD.
So a little advice, do not ask Santa Claus to put you under the tree!

As you know, over three million copies of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on DVD/Blu-Ray were sold on its opening weekend of release.

According to The Wrap, this put Eclipse on top of DVD sales charts for the weekend. Apparently, most people who came out for Eclipse bought the DVD rather than renting because it didn't show so hotly on rental lists. Ah well.

Most fans probably want their own copy of the film rather than paying to rent it anyway.

In other Eclipse-related news, The Hollywood Reporter states that Eclipse's trailer was one of "the most-searched movie trailers on Google this year."

Anyone surprised?

Last year, the New Moon trailer was the "most viral video" of the year.

According to Home Media Magazine, there have already been three million copies of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on Blu-Ray/DVD sold since the December 4th release. 

Back in March, 2009, Twilight sold over three million copies in its first weekend, and in March of this year, The Twilight Saga: New Moon sold over four million on opening weekend. 

According to a spokesperson from the studio, "With the first two titles, we had massive March opening events involving thousands of retail stores . . . We were going for a big bang, right out of the gate.

This time we are releasing the film during the holiday season, a much more crowded time and one with vastly different consumer shopping patterns. So our whole plan is to look at what we're doing over a four-week period of time, and not a single night." 

Given the nearness to the holiday giving season, there is no doubt more to come from Eclipse sales. 

The magazine also reports that totals for Twilight sales are up to 10.5 million units, and those for New Moon have reached 9.5 million units so far.
