As you know, over three million copies of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on DVD/Blu-Ray were sold on its opening weekend of release.

According to The Wrap, this put Eclipse on top of DVD sales charts for the weekend. Apparently, most people who came out for Eclipse bought the DVD rather than renting because it didn't show so hotly on rental lists. Ah well.

Most fans probably want their own copy of the film rather than paying to rent it anyway.

In other Eclipse-related news, The Hollywood Reporter states that Eclipse's trailer was one of "the most-searched movie trailers on Google this year."

Last year, the New Moon trailer was the "most viral video" of the year.

HollywoodNews.com: Apparently people can’t get enough of ‘Twilight’ couple Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson and the two have reportedly been named the most Googled couple. 

According to reports, they are searched for more than other heavy hitters like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, states Right TV. It seems the interest really took off after the couple finally came out as being in a relationship. 

Since then, rumors have run wild and fans just want a glimpse of the two showing affection in public.
