ROBERT Pattinson looked like just another music fan as he enjoyed Adelaide's Big Day Out at the Showgrounds on Friday.
The Hollywood star, and part-time muso, has been spotted all over town this week and was among the thousands watching The Killers, Vampire Weekend and the Red Hot Chili Peppers at the festival.
Wearing his trademark baseball cap, check shirt and dark jeans, the Twilight hunk happily posed for photos backstage with John Day and friends.
"He was very cool, very gracious and good humored ... I asked him how he was enjoying Adelaide and he said he'd only been here a short time and hadn't seen much," John says.
Robert's new movie, The Rover, will be shot in various locations in SA's Flinders Ranges, but the actor admitted to not knowing much about the area.
"I asked him what he (Rob) thought of the Flinders Ranges and he wasn't sure what or where that was, so he had a bit of a laugh about that," John says.
Later in the evening, Robert kicked on to what is becoming his favourite Adelaide nightspot, the Grace Emily Hotel on Waymouth St, where he had a few drinks in the beer garden.
Earlier in the week, the actor - wearing shorts, a white shirt and a backpack - was seen riding a bike on his own through Adelaide.
Confidential understands Rob was scheduled to leave Adelaide this weekend to start shooting on The Rover, with production set to begin this week.

That's a given. Big F....ing deal. We should be estatic that Rob was able to get out to the festival and enjoy the music like a normal person (as possible), with out the papz screaming obscenities about Kristen to upset him and ruin his day. This is what Kristen would want for him. Next the fan pic that just happened to be blond- please people, give Rob a little credit!! DeleteOlivia, you are so right! I don't understand the fans sometimes! Through the years we have gotten to know Rob and he is real and a sweet nice person so give him a break! I wouldn't be surprised if Kristen just told him to go and have fun in Australia before filming.

ReplyDeleteThe reason she is getting flack, is because she posted the pic on twitter and then made the comment that Rob may have looked high. Nice, dont' you think. Goes to show being nice, gets Rob mean spirted comments. That's so classy of her. I don't condone bulling, but polite comments telling her think before you post, is a good thing. Especially when Rob stopped for a pic with her and didn't have to. That one of the reason's Rob said he hated social media, people can put anything they want out there without any thought behind it.

Have you all forgotten what Rob said about cheating a year or two back? He said he understood the tempation, but he wouldn't cheat on someone he was with. I think he has proven that over and over. He doesn't strike me as one to do that. So let's not jump to conclusions. The rag mags will do enough of that! I figure Kristen will go see him around Valentine's Day. That's 3 weeks away. Yes it is a pity if Libenet stopped making such fab videos. I also think Kristen made a huge mistake, and although we do not know the true account of what really happened she never deserved the bullying and bad things said about her.Bullying is awful and should not be tolerated. Everyone makes mistakes and faults in life but we need to grow stronger from them and learn how to overcome them. I know Kristen and Rob are okay now and we are all with them 100%, what a lovely couple.

Guys for those that have heard about the flood emergency in Australia Rob is not near the floods he is safe in Adalade he is not caught up in anything although he is about to see the true Aussie spirit. Maybe once people are allowed back into their homes and it is safe Rob would go visit the youth victoms or maybe he would go to a benifit. Knowing Rob he might want to do something. If Kristen was here I am sure she would love to do something to help. It is so weird one part of Australia the other part is drowning. Glad that he likes Australia he got a taste of Aussie culture at the big day out.

I'm love Robsten, and hopefully this time away from each other reassures them that they want to be together. Or maybe it goes the other way, hope not. But whatever happens, happens...wish Rob and Kristen the best.

DeleteI agree about the media. I also want to say that I miss the Libenet vids. I was on the site you mentioned Anonymous at 7:14. I was really blown away when it shut down. I think we may have put them on too high of a pedestal. If you stop and think about it this is the only thing we've ever heard that wasn't good about them. No police record, nothing. I still say there is something off about it. Just weird is all I can say. But, just glad Rob is able to relax and get away from the papz. Just hope Kristen is relaxing and enjoying this time off. They deserve a break from all the drama. And I still want to know where Rob's other hand is!!!;) lol OR maybe not!!!! LOL
