Oh come on, lighten up! Its MTV Award. if they will win the Best Kiss, this will be last one for a long while so of course we need the real deal- the Epic Kiss... lol.

I'm fine, I just dont see why you guys need to see them kiss. If they don't want to then they dont want to. It doesn't seem like them anyway. They seem don't do things because other want them to. They do what they want.

I totally agree with you. They've always wanted to protect their privacy. Let them be. I love their low-ley, down to earth style.

This kiss is the movie kiss, it's not a real life kiss, at least on the record. We will probably see it as a real life kiss, but up there on the stage it's supposed to be a movie kiss, so they should perform one damn movie kiss. And I just can't understand their reasoning. For two people who have kissed so many people, who have done nudity, sex scenes, can't they just share a freaking kiss on stage with the person they are in a relationship with? It's for the stage. You know what I mean, they should see it as acting. And really they're making a big deal out of it. Of course WE are making it a big deal too, so that's probably why they avoid it. But they should do it for one last time.
And really I've gotten kinda tired with all the secrecy all these years. Maybe things would be easier if they didn't take everything so seriously all the time. The MTV Kiss is just a fun thing and they could just go for it.
But I kinda have the feeling we are gonna be disappointed again. For 4 years, I always have this big excitement and then nothing solid happens. It's really disappointing.

No they shouldn't have to do anything on stage at all. Acting on set or in theater is not the same thing as accepting an MTV award, it just isn't. Just because Rachel and Ryan did it doesn't mean everyone should too. And all the secrecy is because they want to protect their relationship. And that relationship consists only Rob and Kristen. Not Rob, Kristen and the fans. Sometimes it seems its about what the fans want and not respecting Rob and Kristen's choices. I really don't understand where the disappointment comes from.

They were starting to open up about thier relationship last year in the winter and spring. They were both doing great in thier careers. We saw them being open about thier relationship and even started talking about it without actully making some big fancy announcement.I really felt that they we're going do the big mtv kiss for fans since it was going to the fifth and last time ever. But things changed sadly. After some events in the mid-summer they went back to complete shut down mode. They no longer feel safe. Which we need to respect. I feel like they both won't even really show up this year since its always a sour circus around those two. This is real life not evrything is going be peachy keen. I've just learned to accept it as it is and be grateful for what we do get to see and enjoy.

The problem with them kissing is that nobody will see it as a movie kiss as some of you have stated. EVERYONE in the world will not see two people that play Edward and Bella but they will see Rob and Kristen and it will be splattered all over everywhere and they will be asked about it EVERY interview that they do from now on. I don't want that for them.
It is enough to have seen the few kisses that we have from when the paps and fans have caught them doing it, I don't need anything more. We've all seen them kiss in the movies that is enough for me because honestly that is R/K kissing you have to know that.
So the whole MTV kiss is a joke anyway. Just think about how awkward it is for them because as Kristen said...Rob can't lie and if they did ever kiss...you have to know that it would bring out R/K not E/B. I'm embarrassed that they get nominated for these things to be honest. Two such serious actors standing on a stage kissing...uh no.
What I would LOVE to see someday. Is Rob and Kris sitting at the same table at the Golden Globes and when one of them wins to lean over and kiss the other...NOW that will be the time for the world to see them kiss.

I do agree with that. The problem of the whole situation is the reaction. It's actually our fault that they're not kissing. Imagine what a big deal we would make out of it. And it's not just talking about it. Most of us are gonna stare at the photos like they're some kind of art or a sight. And many people are gonna have the "kiss" as a twitter avatar and phone backgrounds etc etc, which is something I find annoying and idiotic. When the picture from that first kiss in Montreal came up, I stared a lot at those pictures, and then I put one of them as my phone background, but immediately thought that this is just immature and stupid, and very privacy violating, so I took it off right away. It's just two people, in a relationship, kissing. Why should I stare at that whenever I want? And what right do I have to have it on my phone? Thank God I don't act like that anymore.
So maybe if we took a chill pill once in a while when it comes to their "good" moments, maybe we would get more of those moments. Including an MTV kiss.

I think Anonymous 6:48 is talking about the last British premiere, where they were on the balcony, and R and K are in the background and there's this really blurry shot, which is a screenshot from the video stream, where he may be kissing her forehead, because his mouth looks like it's directly there. Although I was never sure about this picture. It could be just their position. I'm not completely sure he's kissing her forehead. It could be that, too, though.

Mee too. He looks so secure wraping his arms on her body. For me it says a lot than a kiss on stage. I love how they touch each other. I love everything 'bout them <3

I hope so too. I also think them trying to be so private just fuel paparrazzi to catch them in the act. Whereas if they would just be like normal couple and hold hand kiss etc the pics of them would be worth less bcuz it wouldn't have same appeal imo. Plus sorry but I am mad that rob hasn't said back off hatets I love her and forgive her so quit talking crap about woman I love.
