THR: Let’s talk about some of the most talked-about scenes of the latest film. Were you shocked at how graphic Bella’s birth scene was?
Greene: It was a bit hard to watch at points, but overall, I think [director] Bill Condon was extremely sensitive and conscientious of our younger audience. He had the difficult job of staying true to the book without turning off a major sector of our audience. I think he did a good job of balancing that task.

THR: Can you describe the lengths the production went to in order to keep Bella’s wedding dress under wraps?
Greene: We were literally under wraps! All of us, but most importantly Kristen, wore sacks when we were shuttled to and from the set. There were helicopters and paparazzi everywhere — it was a massive covert operation to keep it all a secret!

MYSPACE: Speaking of fashion, this film had a lot of anticipation around the wedding, and especially the wedding dress. How did you feel seeing the wedding scene for the first time or seeing Kristen in her wedding dress?

ASHLEY GREENE: It was very exciting, and, extremely realistic. Honestly, I think part of it is that we’ve become his family and so you know, I do have a relationship with these people and these characters. So you try as an actor, to make it as real as possible and, I mean, it was beautiful and it was very intimate. They kept it, you know, it was kind of a closed set. It definitely affected most of the actors who play the Cullens. So it was kind of a beautiful thing. And seeing Kristen, or Bella, walk down this aisle in this beautiful gown and I mean, she’s stunning, that was a really cool thing to be a part of.

MYSPACE: Back to the movie – the story goes from this beautiful wedding scene and honeymoon to a total nightmare. Bella is dying and you know, Kristen’s wearing this crazy zombie makeup to capture that, and all the Cullens are wasting away as well. What was it like seeing Kristen in that makeup for the first time and also what was your experience being a Cullen in starvation mode?

ASHLEY GREENE: (laughing) Um, I can’t say I fully committed to the starvation thing!
You would like to be able to say, “Oh, well I’m just going to not eat” but craft services ruins that!

Kristen I mean, she just looked unhealthy when she put the prosthetics on! ‘Cause even though you know that they’re prosthetics, you can’t help but think they look like protruding bones and they did a really great job. And so it’s very creepy and I think, you know, you have to use it and allow yourself to think that it’s real and so it was disturbing seeing that. And to think that, you know, Bella’s let herself come to this and she’s still fighting for this child that’s clearly kind of eating away at her. It was, um, certainly, the darkest thing that I think Alice that has to deal with!

On filming Bella and Edward’s wedding scenes: “Watching your friends get married, onscreen or off, is a very interesting, delicate thing.”

Usually when it comes to red carpets, we're all about the sleek and the chic, but once a year we're willing to make an exception for the an event where over-the-top fashion is not only encouraged but expected. We're talking of course about the Met Costume Institute Gala Benefit, where the motto is go big or go home. Luckily, the event, which was attended last night by a mix of stars from various genres you generally don't see sharing a red carpet, including Kristen Stewart, Taylor Swift and Lea Michele, didn't disappoint. The night, which was in honor of legendary designer Alexander McQueen this year, was flooded with trends we've seen before this season, including lots of nude and red gowns and a heavy dose of sparkles, but they all had a fresh and very dramatic flare. Check out our fashion recap below to find out who brought their best and who brought the crazy.

 

Now, Kristen hasn't always made the cut on our best-dressed lists, but last night she earned a spot right at the very top. KStew arrived on the carpet in a sleeveless, dark red Proenza Schouler floor-length gown with black circular patterns. The look was clean and modern and her hair and makeup were simply flawless. Like Kristen, "Twilight" co-star Ashley Greene has also wavered when it comes to our fashion recaps, but last night she made our jaws drop in a stunning, strapless nude gown by Donna Karan. The beaded outfit stood in stark contrast to Kristen's modern style, but we loved it just as much. Also, bonus points for the classic up-do and dangling earrings—a perfect choice to accompany her dramatic gown.

Kristen may have spent most of the first three ‘Twilight’ movies with real life beau Robert Pattinson, but in ‘Breaking Dawn’ she will be spending a lot of time with her female costars for once! 

Kristen Stewart has spent the first three Twilight films in a tempestuous love triangle, almost always alongside Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson, but for the first installment of Breaking Dawn it will be female costars Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed she spends a good deal of time with! 

Once Bella is pregnant she relies on Rosalie to physically carry her around the house while Alice becomes her constant companion, spending most of her days by Bella’s side. For a girl who has had to spend almost all her time with the boys for three films it must be nice to get some girl time on the set! 

Of course, Edward and Jacob are also constantly around, but in the first installment it seems Bella spends just as much time with her new sister-in-laws. In all honesty, it’s a nice break after what seemed like an endless love triangle!

Tom Felton ("Draco Malfoy") was asked on the red carpet of HP7's NYC premiere last night how his experience of working with Ashley Greene ("Alice Cullen") in Apparition was. “Ashley’s a wonder to work with and she looks fierce on the screen," he explained. Felton wasn't the only one to remark on working with a Twilight star. In fact, he wasn't the only "Malfoy" to do so. 

Felton's on-screen father Jason Isaacs ("Lucius Malfoy") also spoke up about working with Taylor Lautner in Abduction. "He is a martial arts wizard in real life - he can do standing double back somersaults, and he used to do exhibitions at the karate world championships - but I had to beat him up, and I couldn't beat my wife in a fight . . . It was interesting to see another young person who is universally known but very different to Daniel, Rupert and Emma. The Twilight phenomenon is different . . .I am now - and have to be - Team Jacob, because Taylor is a lovely boy." The full interview is available here. 

"Lucius Malfoy" is "Team Jacob"? In the attached video from an MTV interview, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Tom Felton, and Rupert Grint all take on the task of speaking with an American accent. They are asked to say, "Twilight blows." Radcliffe says, "My apologies in advance, Rob, I'm just reading what's on the card, just following orders." And Emma Watson, whose words on the subject of Twilight were heavily inspected a few weeks back, said, "Oh, this is controversial. This is a trick! You are trying to trick me!"

Honestly, this whole debate is just ridiculous. Harry Potter is a great story about adventure, it's scary, it's thrilling and I'm sure it's centered around goodness overcoming evil. Twilight, is a beautiful love story that really teaches something. So, really it depends on the type of person you are. And the fact that Emma Watson even went as far as to say that Twilight is selling sex (which is completely twisted, because the story is all about abstinence) doesn't tell me good things. 

Robert Pattinson and his crew have been pumping iron — and fans have been ‘crying’ waiting outside for the sweaty cast! Breaking Dawn is breaking a sweat!

HollywoodLife.com can tell you that Robert Pattinson, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz are just some of the cast that have been working out at the Baton Rouge, La., Bally Total Fitness in the Perkins Rowe shopping center!

“They’ve been in here some,” says a source. “But we don’t like to talk about it much because so many fans come and hang around waiting to see them, some are crying with posters and stuff.” The cast has been spotted all over Baton Rouge where they’re filming the third installment of the Twilight series! They’ve been going to all the local bars and restaurants, and we can’t wait for more vampires and werewolves sightings!
