You filmed Parts 1 and 2 simultaneously, sometimes having Kristen Stewart play weak, dying Bella in the same afternoon as strong vampire Bella.
Condon: I really do think that Kristen Stewart is amazing, but I feel like in terms of this series she doesn’t get credit for how much she accomplishes. I think if someone were to sit and watch these two movies that we made together at the same time and realize that Kristen shot that all together, it’s just another level of her gift. She was stepping out of her comfort zone, because there was so much Kristen in teenage Bella — and now this was someone who she was just creating. I think Kristen, who’s tough on herself, was able to step out of all that stuff and just really own everything.

i really do think Condon admires her alot. he isnt like this to the rest of the cast.

ReplyDelete99.9% of the movies are not film in chronological order this days. So all the actor have to do very different scenes on the same day.
And the actors in The Lord of the Rings, or Pirates. They all shoot the movies at the same time (3 in LOTR, 2 POTC) And you hear nothing about this "¡omg, they filmed that at the same time!"
Is something that all the actors do.
I actually like Kristen as an actress, but I think they overreact to everything she does to prove she is not bad (like the critics say she is).
But don't do that. The media and the people will eventually see that she is a good actress.
Don't you think that in the middle of all this hate she deserves a little bit of praises? I don't get your point. And "to prove she is not bad (like the critics say she is)"? most of the critics don't say that about Kristen in her other movies. And many of them agree that the "problem" is bella, not Kristen.
DeleteI love Kristen's work. I think she's unique, because the way she acts is different. She does it most with her eyes. You can see everything in her eyes. And she actually lives the scenes, she doesnt fake.
She doesn't have to prove nothing to anyone. She knows she's good. And she's doing what she loves and she doesnt care about what random people say about her.

DeleteBecause within any given day, while filming both Breaking Dawn 1 & 2 she could be playing 3 Bella's. (Human/Pregnant/Vampire) Human= happy newly wed, pregnant= dying in pain & Vampire= change of mind set & movement altogether. Changing from one to the other required her to be in different emotional places, plus being a Vamp needed her to move & hold herself in a way human Bella didn't. All the other actors parts were set, be it human,vamp or wolf. Kristen had to jump from one to the other remembering to move as required, that can be very draining.
