Robert Pattinson had quite the busy Friday.
Fresh from his whirlwind Twilight press tour with Kristen Stewart, the thesp headed to Richard Gere's Arbitrage Luncheon at Osteria Mozza in Los Angeles to celebrate Gere's financial thriller flick.
The pair posed for photos during the fete, with Pattinson sporting nearly all black for the occasion--black T-shirt, black overcoat, jean jacket and black pants.
And that was just the beginning of Pattinson's industry-event filled day.
Following Gere's get-together, Pattinson headed to Soho House, where he was seen having a business lunch with a Warner Bros. exec. to discuss a movie.

For some reason Robert Pattinson showed up toward the end of the luncheon. I'm taller than he is. He has a kind face and a warm smile, but his eyes kinda blank out when he listens to someone talking. When he's trying to concentrate or show respect to whomever is speaking, I mean, his features go flat. That's L.A. ReplyDeletei dont think so. whats wrong with spacing out?! at least Rob was being polite and didnt turn his back. He was probably forced to attend that event and bored out of his mind.
DeleteI wouldn't pay much attention to what that reporter said and in general to the mean things some people occasionally say about both Kristen and Rob (more about Kristen I guess)! Humans are very strange creatures, each with its own frustrations and always with a critical spirit towards others!

Report beginning "I'm taller than he is" tells a lot. The guy exposed his envy and complexes about Rob.

ReplyDeleteI love that in almost every picture taken alongside Rob, the other person (famous or not) is having a big grin on its face, like he/she just won a prize or something! :)) Totally understandable by the way!

There are three parts of it. It's so funny - there are lots of great moments like how Kristen was (adorably) nervous and uncomfortable, having trouble with her heels, a discreet touch of Rob's arm when he was feeling embarrassed, how sincere Rob's answers were (compared to how goofy he is now) etc. I don't think they were dating at that point but still, it was one of the first times we saw them together.
Remember to vote Rob and Kristen on the celeb of the year.
